Meetings
Committee and Walks Fixtures Meeting
The next club committee meeting is at 7pm on 24th March 2026 in Deebert House Hotel, Kilmallock.
The Walks Fixtures meeting (No.2 2026) takes place at 8pm after the committee meeting– all club leaders are welcome to attend
Members can keep up to date with the ‘Ballyhoura Bears News’ WhatsApp Group - Walks Updates, Weather Cancellations and training opportunities are made available via the Ballyhoura Bears News WhatsApp group and also by email.
Spring Break (formerly Easter Break) take place in the Comeraghs from 17th-19th April
The 2026 Bears Trip abroad will take place from 7th – 14th September in Northern Italy
Rescue Emergency Care (REC3) Training is being delivered for club members on 24th & 25th January
Non-Members can do up to three Bear walks to see if hiking with the Bears is for them. Membership is available for 55 Euros for the year via Ballyhourabears.com and
New walkers are welcome to join, please contact the walk leader in advance of any walk. Please note that new walkers may participate on three Ballyboura Bear Club walks prior to joining this walking club – participants who wish to continue to walk with this club must register for club membership and will then have Mountaineering Ireland Insurance cover.
